How automated conversations work inside LaunchPoint Business OS. Last updated: July 2026
LaunchPoint Business OS includes an automated assistant that can respond to customer messages on behalf of a business. It answers questions using knowledge content the business has supplied, captures enquiry details, and routes conversations to a human team member when needed.
Automated replies are generated from the knowledge content and settings configured by the business. Where the assistant does not have an answer, it says so and offers to hand the conversation to a person rather than guessing.
Every conversation is visible in the business's shared inbox. A customer can ask for a human at any time, and the business can take over a conversation manually. Handover pauses automated replies for that conversation.
Message generation uses third-party language-model infrastructure under contract. Message content is sent to these providers only to generate a reply, and is not used by LaunchPoint to advertise or profile customers.
Each business's conversations, knowledge, leads and settings are isolated to that business's workspace. One client cannot access another client's data.
Conversation and lead data is retained for the business to service the relationship, subject to our Privacy Policy. Customers may request access, correction or deletion of their personal information by emailing hello@launchpointcon.co.za.
Email hello@launchpointcon.co.za for any question about how automation is used in our platform.
